Keep it fresh
Keep the cap closed and pour with dry hands, so the powder stays dry and fragrant.
Steps
The weekly ritual
Once a week, try it the traditional way: massage warm sesame oil into your skin, smooth the ubtan over it, polish gently, and rinse with lukewarm water. There is no need for soap, and your skin is left soft and supple.
Try the buttons below: choose your skin type to see the directions that suit you, and start a timer as you go. A soft chime tells you when the time is up.
Take a little powder in your palm or a small bowl. About ¼ teaspoon is enough for the face.
For normal or dry skin, mix it with rose water and a few drops of coconut, almond or sesame oil, or with milk cream and honey. For oily skin, mix it with honey, curd or raw milk.
Let the paste rest for 3–5 minutes, so the herbs soften.

Time’s up.
Apply an even layer. Leave it on for 5–10 minutes.

Rinse with cool water.
In a hurry? Mix a pinch with two to four drops of oil and a little water, and use it like a face wash.
